Differs from V. cymbalaria by always completely lacking glandular hairs; lamina always distinctly 7-lobed, lobes ± pointed, incisions acute, base subcordate, lower surface glabrous, upper sparsely pubescent with 0,5-1 mm hairs, margin shortly pilose with 0,1-0,3 mm hairs; pedicels 8-17 mm, glabrous; calyx lobes ovate or elliptic, often with 1-2 teeth near base, glabrous except for 0,2-0,4 mm hairs on margin; corolla 3-6 mm diam.; style 0,4-0,6 mm; capsule glabrous or subglabrous; seeds smaller, orifice contracted. Fl. 3. Steppe etc., c. 600 m.
