Annual, resembling L. simplex in its glandular linear-spathulate calyx lobes, but differing in the broader linear-lanceolate leaves of flowering shoots, and smaller lavender-blue flowers; corolla 1,5-4 mm and spur not more than 1 mm. Fl. spring.
