Differs from E. rostkoviana in having stem not more than 20 cm, with 0-2 pairs of branches; first flower at 4th-9th node; leaves not more than 11 mm, with to 5 pairs of teeth; corolla 4·5-6 mm; capsule 4,5-6 mm, sometimes longer than calyx. Fl. 7-9. Subalpine or alpine grassland, 1500-2440 m.
