Stems 7-32 cm, erect or decumbent or rarely prostrate. Leaves 7-26 mm , oblong or oblanceolate to linear, black-glandular-fimbriate. Sepals subequal, narrowly oblong, acute to rounded, black-glandular-fimbriate. Petals 9-15 mm, with a few glandular cilia and a few superficial black dots near the apex. Capsule 7-10 mm, ovoid. Fl. 6-7. Dry grassland and stony places, 800-1900 m.
