Erect or ascending shrub, 15-70 cm, branches usually densely adpressed-hairy. Leaflets 8-20 x 3-7 mm, oblanceolate or obovate, subglabrous to densely adpressed hairy above, sparsely to densely sericeous beneath. Flowers in heads of 4-8. Calyx densely adpressed hairy to villous. Corolla yellow; standard 14-20mm, densely sericeous. Legume c. 20 mm, usually straight, densely sericeous to villous. Fl. 5-6. Hillsides, banks, edges of woodland, 200-1020 m.
