Dwarf, prostrate, acaulous, perennial herb, with a branched, woody caudex. Leaves 2-5 cm; leaflets 6-8 mm, narrowly elliptic, finely bifurcate-sericeous, 8-11-paired; stipules c. 8 mm, linear. Inflorescence sessile, a raceme with up to 10 flowers, or flowers solitary. Bracts c. 5 mm, linear. Calyx c. 10 mm, tubular, long white adpressed bifurcate-pilose; teeth 4-6 mm, linear. Corolla lilac; standard c. 20 mm. Ovary sparsely hairy. FI. 6. Calcareous marl, 900-1600 m.
