Low straggling shrub; stems 20-30 cm, tomentose. Leaf rachis spiny 3-7 cm, incurved. Leaflets 5-19 rnm, elliptic to oblong, adpressed-simple-pilose, 4-8-paired. Stipules 7-10 mm, triangular-ovate, densely white-tomentose. Flowers sessile, 5-10 per leaf axil. Inflorescence ovoid to oblong, 1,5-3 cm diam., 10-80-flowered. Bracts 6-8 mm oblong to ovate, navicular, densely white-tomentose. Bracteoles absent. Calyx 8-10 mm, densely white-villous; lobes divided to the base, incurved. Corolla colour unknown; standard 10-15 rnm. FI. 6-8. Macchie, woodland, meadows, 50-1300 m.
