Glabrous, sparingly-branched unarmed shrub to 3 m. Cauline and ray leaves elliptic to elliptic-obovate, 1-4.5 x 0.5-1 cm, obtuse or subacute, sometimes mucronulate, entire. Raylet-leaves elliptic-obovate or obovate, 0.5-1.5 x 0.5-1 cm, yellowish. Rays 5, to 3 times trichotomous or dichotomous; axillary rays 0-1. Fruit 5 mm diam., verrucose. -Seeds ovoid, 2 mm, smooth, dark brown; caruncle hemispherical. Fl. 1-6. Limestone rocks and cliffs, open forest, 5-300 m.
