Prostrate to ascending perennial. Stems up to 50 cm, puberulent. Leaves all similar, very narrowly oblanceolate or very narrowly elliptic, c. 10 x 2 mm, indumentum similar to that on the stem. Flowers solitary. Calyx 14-16 mm, 10-nerved, glandular-pilose and viscid. Petals white, the limb bipartite. Anthophore 4-6 mm, hairy. Capsule ovoid, included in the calyx. Fl. 9. Sandy shores.
