Perennial, 10-24 cm. Leaves 22-36 x 0,8-2 mm, linear, narrowed from the base or from about the middle to an acute or acuminate apex, conspicuously 3-nerved. Flowers solitary or stems branched above, pedicels more than 2 cm. Bracteoles 4, c. ½ calyx length, ovate, aristate, purplish, inner rarely acute. Calyx 18-21 x 2,6-3,5 mm, widest in the lower half, purplish; teeth 6,5-8 mm, oblong, obtuse, often aristate. Petal limb 6-10 mm, pale pink to pink, ebarbulate, deeply dentate. Fl. 7-9. Stony slopes,often limestone,1800-2900 m.
