Slender, densely puberulent annual, glandular on the pedicels and sepals. Leaves 5-18 mm, apiculate,long-petiolate, lamina of the lower leaves suborbicular, the upper obovate. Inflorescence lax, 5-40-flowered; bracts 0,5-1,5 mm, subulate, markedly different from upper leaves; pedicels 5-15 mm, slender, usually spreading. Sepals 2-2,5 mm, ovate to ovate-lanceolate, narrowly acute, ± equally and obscurely 3-7-veined. Petals oblanceolate, c. 1.5 x longer than sepals. Capsule narrowly ovoid, up to 2 x longer than calyx. Seeds 0,6-0,8 mm, weakly tuberculate, tubercles rhomboid, papillose. Fl. 5. Rocks and cliffs, s.l.-1000 m.
