Perennial, woody at base, 15-20 cm, flowering stems simple, glabrous. Leaves oblong or oblong-lanceolate, of firm texture, 3-nerved, amplexicaul or sessile, cordate-hastate or attenuate at base, acute at apex. Petals white, 1-nerved at base, 6-10x2-3 mm. Filaments slender, neither connate nor toothed, anthers apiculate. Inflorescence much elongating in fruit. Ovary 2-locular, usually each loculus 2-ovuled. Fruiting pedicels erect, ascending, 5-8 mm. Siliculae oblong, or obeordate, 5-9 x 3-4 mm; septum 6-9 x 1.5-2.5 mm; wings entire-margined 0.5 mm or absent; sinus c. 0.5 mm; style 2-3 mm. Seeds 1-2-3, smooth, not mucilaginous. Fl. 5-6. Rocky slopes, 2000-2700 m.
