Annual or biennial up to 50 cm, glaucous, much branched in region of inflorescence. Basal leaves fleshy, obovate-spathulate, gradually narrowed into a thick petiole, irregularly toothed on margin and at apex. Cauline leaves obovateorbicular, semi-amplexicaul, subauriculate, entire or irregularly toothed. Petals 4 x 3 mm, white. Fruiting pedicels 4-5 mm. Fruits 5-9 x 2.5-3.5 mm; stigma capitate. Seeds 1-2 in each loculus. Fl. 5-6. Rocky slopes and rock crevices, 1370-2100 m.
