Biennial or perennial. Stems erect, pilose, up to 70 cm. Rosette leaves petiolate, obovate, dentate; cauline leaves sessile, oblong, dentate, amplexicaul and auriculate. Petals pale yellow. Siliquae 10-15 cm, flexuous, the inflorescence subsecund in fruit. Seeds with a narrow wing. Fl. 4. In mountains.
