Biennial or perennial herb. Stems usually erect, 15-35 cm. Basal leaves obovate-spathulate; stem leaves oblong-lanceolate, auriculate; all deeply dentate with many teeth, and canescent. Sepals purplish, at least at the tip. Petals white, 12-16 mm. Siliquae spreading, flexuous, subcompressed, not strangulate, flexuous, 40-60 x 1-1,5 mm. Fl. 3-4. Slopes, rocks, forests, often in rich soil, 500-1900 m.
