Hirsute annual, without bristles. Stem 10-20 cm, branching from base. Cauline leaves lanceolate to linear-lanceolate, 2-5 x 0,2-0,8 cm. Inflorescence subcapitate. Fruiting calyx 10-12 mm, with elongate acuminate lobes. Corolla violet, 14 mm, limb campanulate, 12-15 mm diam. Nutlets erect, oblong-triangular, sharply 2-keeled, one side flat and hardly wrinled, the other strongly convex, reticulate-rugose, glabrous, pale grey, basal ring narrow, triangular, little thickened. Fl. 6.
