Grey-tomentose ± tufted perennial, stems 11-20 cm. Basal leaves linear-oblong, lamina 20-40 x 4-6 mm, petiole to 30 mm, cauline narrowly oblong, upper part of stem ± leafless. Inflorescence subcorymbose, cymes few. Calyx lobes c. 8 mm. Corolla 7-9 mm, tube exceeding deeply lobed limb; lobes broadly ovate, obtuse. Scales triangular-oblong, 2 mm, apex bilobed, slightly incurved. Anthers 1,1-1,3 mm. Style 7 mm. Nutlets suborbicular, 8,6-9,0 mm diam., disc smooth, keel tuberculate or echinulate; wing smooth and entire, or echinulate-denticulate. Fl. 5. Limestone scree slopes, c. 1300 m.
