Annual herb. Stems erect or decumbent, up to 7 cm, sparsely pubescent. Leaves spathulate, 1-1,5 cm x 4-8 mm, acute or obtuse at apex, attenuate at base, entire or 2-3-toothed on each side near apex, ciliate near base, otherwise glabrous. Capitula on 2-7 cm peduncles. Involucre 3-4 mm broad; phyllaries lanceolate, 2,5-3 x 1-1,5 mm. Ray flowers 20-30; ligules 4-5 mm. Disc corollas 1,5 mm. Achenes 1,2-1,4 mm, finely pubescent. Fl. 2-5. Damp places at edges of fields and waste ground, s.l.-300 m.
