Bushy perennial, woody at the base. Stems about 40 cm tall, densely canescent-tomentose. Basal leaves 8-20 cm, 1-pinnate, segments ± orbicular to cuneate, somewhat coriaceous, laciniate or toothed, 1-3,5 cm long, sparsely tomentose. Cauline leaves becoming smaller, segments cuneate, reduced to sheath at top of stem. Lateral branches of inflorescence paniculate. Umbels 4-6-rayed, rays unequal, tomentose. Bracts and bracteoles absent. Flowers white, 10-15 per umbellule; petals densely hairy over whole dorsal surface. Fruit c. 2 mm long, ovoid, pubescent; stylopodium hemispherical. Fl. 8. Cliffs, 1200-1400 m.
