Glaucous annual, biennial or perennial. Stem terete, striate, 25-100 cm. Basal and lower cauline leaves 1-2-ternate or pinnatisect, glabrous or sometimes minutely setulose-puberulent on the petioles and on the lower side of segments, glaucous; segments linear to narrowly lanceolate, 1-10 x 0,2-1,5 cm, somewhat falcate, serrate. Upper cauline leaves usually ternate. Umbels long-peduncled, rays 7-15, subequal, 1-3 cm, ascending-erect; bracts and bracteoles subulate, up to 8 mm; fruiting pedicels slender. Mericarps oblong-linear, 4-5 x 0,5-0,8 mm, cylindrical, constricted at the commissure; ridges slightly arched, laterals marginal; vittae solitary per vallecula and each half of commissure. Fl. 6-8. Rocky slopes, pasture, banks, fallow fields, 80-2300 m.
