Much-branched perennial; stems striate, scabrid, often with strongly swollen nodes. Basal leaves 4-5-ternate, ovate in outline; ultimate segments 5-15 x c. 0,5 mm, filiform, hispidulous; petioles with 'pustular' clumps of papillae. Umbels  3-7. Bracteoles linear, scabrid. Petals densely velutinous on outer surface. Fruit broader than long, setulose-verrucose; ridges not prominent: Fl. 7. Valleys, etc.
