Rhizomatous glabrous perennial. Stem erect, sulcate, 50-100 cm. Basal lower cauline leaves long petiolate, deltate in outline, glabrous; segments ovate-lanceolate, 3-7 x 1.5-5 cm, glaucous beneath, green above, serrate, sometimes 3-lobed; upper cauline leaves smaller. Umbels long-peduncled, rays 12-20, ascending-erect, 1.5-4 cm; fruiting pedicels slender, Mericarps 3-4 x 1-1.2 mm. Fl. 5-6. Woods, s.l.-750 m.
