Plant 5-40 cm high, green or glaucous. Ultimate leaflets lanceolate to obovate with undivided apex. Inflorescence decumbent to erect, with 1-18 flowers. Sepals 2.5-5.1 x 0.9-2.5 mm. apex sometimes 2-3-tid. Petals lemon yellow. Outer petals 6-10.9 x 5.9-11 mm. not or shortly unguiculate. trilobate, lateral lobes flat. Inner petals with or without black spots; lateral lobes 3.3-8 x 0.8-2 mm, obovate with obtuse apex; fimbriate lobe 3.8-5.6 x 1.2-3.4 mm, with a stalk 0.3-1.4 mm long, truncate at base. Filaments of median stamens narrowly triangular; anthers 1.6-2.8 mm. Fruits 1.5-2.5 mm at broadest septa; septa not thickened. Fl. 2-7. Ruderal places. fields. 100-500 m
