Stems suberect, 10-22 cm. Leaves dark green, biternate with shallowly to deeply divided leaflets; segments broadly obovate to lanceolate, greatly differing in size. Racemes long and lax, 6-22-flowered. Bracts obovate-lanceolate, entire, 6-15 mm, often lengthening in fruit up to 30 rnm. Pedicels 8-15 mm, reflexed in fruit. Corolla white, creamy white, or pale lilac, with inner petals tipped with a contrasting blackish apex. Outer petals broadly ernarginate; upper petal with a 13-17 mm long spur. Lower petal 12-15 mm long, without a basal pouch. Inner petals 11 mm. Fruit lanceolate, 17-21 x 4-10mm long, 4-10-seeded. Seeds 2 x 1.7 mm with a thick protruding collar surrounding the hilum area. 2n=16*. Fl. 3-5. Rocky places. 1000-2800 m.

Iraq, Iran. Earlier , this was confused with C. integra. from which it differs in dark green leaves, longer and narrower bracts, lanceolate fruit, and very different stigma and seed.
