Tuber elongate. Stems erect, 5-12 cm, without a basal scale leaf. Cauline leaves opposite, almost sessile, 2-3 x ternate, the segments obovate to narrowly elliptic. Inflorescence condensed, 1-7-flowered, exceeding the leaves. Bracts entire, narrowly obovate. Flowers pink, maroon or purplish. Capsule ovate on a recurved, nodding pedicel.
