Annual, glandular-pubescent. Stems ± stiffly erect, unbranched or with few suberect branches, up to 25 cm. Leaves linear-oblong, c. 20 x 1,5 mm, entire, sessile, spreading-erect. Inflorescence spike-like, lax or condensed; bracts similar to leaves, 1 ½ -2 x length of calyx. Pedicels c. 1 mm. Calyx tubular, 6-8 mm; tube 2,5-4 mm; teeth subequal, linear-lanceolate, obtuse. Corolla yellow, 10-13 mm, glandular-pubescent; tube suberect, curved, 7-9 mm; upper lip entire, finely acuminate. Anthers included under upper lip, pilose, mucronate. Capsule oblong-elliptic, c. 7-8 x 4 mm, rounded-truncate at apex, pilose; seeds c. 2 x 1 mm. Fl. 7-8. Rocky limestone slopes, moist ground beside streams, 1250-2440m.
