Plant 15-35 cm. Stem erect, slightly flexuous, with 4-6 rosulate lanceolate leaves c. 8 x 1.5 cm, ± dark-spotted. Spike cylindrical, lax, many-flowered. Flowers pale yellow or whitish. Sepals and petals spreading, lateral sepals erect. Labellum roundish, c. 8-12 mm diam., convex longitUdinally, 3-lobed, deeper yellow, with tiny red-purple dots along centre; lateral lobes obliquely ovate, slightly reflexed; middle lobe smaller, rounded, truncate, slightly notched. Spur ascending, clavate, as long as ovary. Fl. 4-5. Grassy places in Pinus forest, scrub, s.l.-1300 m.
