Tall herb. Stems spreading-pilose. Stipules lanceolate. Leaves ± triangular, acute, coarsely and irregularly serrate. Flowers solitary in the leafaxils. Petals red, scarcely exceeding the sepals. Mericarps densely pilose. Fl 7-8.
