Rootstock woody and creeping. Aerial parts all densely tomentose with dendroid hairs. Stems erect, 15-28 cm. Cauline leaves ovate, 18-22 mm, obtuse, crenulate. Verticillasters 7-20-flowered. Bracteoles 6-7 mm, spathulate. Calyx c. 7 mm, 10-toothed, slightly dilated at top, 3-4 mm diam.; teeth triangular, alternately long and short . Corolla white, 10-12 mm, upper lip with a dense crest of 2-2.5 mm hairs. Fl. 6-7. Stony limestone slopes, 1100-1700 m.
