Slender hairy perennial, 20 cm, rhizome horizontal. Stems retrorsely pilose. Basal leaves glaucescent beneath, adpressed-pubescent above, 3-7 cm diam., deeply palmatifid to c.4/5; segments broadly cuneate-rhombic, shortly pinnatifid into abbreviated crenate-dentate lobes. Bracts 2-3 mm. Pedicels and sepals both puberulent and subadpressed-pilose, eglandular. Flowers and fruits as in G. kurdicum. Fl. 4-5, Quercus coccifera macchie on limestone, Abies forest, 900 m and more.
