Sparingly adpressed-pubescent, branched from base; stems prostrate or ascending-erect, 5-15 cm. Stipules ovate- to lanceolate-acuminate. Leaflets glabrescent, obovate- to obcordate-cuneate, denticulate, truncate or emarginate, 5-8 x 3-6 mm. Peduncle 1,5-2 cm. Flowers 4-8, finally deflexed, forming a short head-like raceme, awn 0-1 mm. Calyx campanulate, 2-2,5 mm; teeth lanceolate, shorter than tube. Corolla bright yellow, 5,5-6 mm. Legumes forming a dense head, cylindrical, beaked, falcate to semicircular, adpressed-puberulent, nerved lengthwise, strangulate between the seeds, 6-10 x 2-3 mm, seed-bearing part about as long as beak. Seeds ovate, 2,5 x 1,5 mm, tubercled. Fl. 5-6. Stony slopes, limestone rocks, s.l.-1150 m.
