Erect to decumbent annual, 10-50 cm. Stipules triangular-oblong, upper portion triangular-setaceous. Leaflets 0,6-2,0 cm, obovate, emarginate. Inflorescence ellipsoid to ovoid, 8-14 mm wide, long-peduncled. Calyx campanulate; tube 10-nerved, hirsute, throat narrowed by a ring-like callosity; teeth setaceous from a broad triangular base, acute, equal, erect or divergent, only rarely spreading in fruit, blackish. Corolla pale pink, 5-7 mm, shorter than the calyx. Fl. 5-7. Nr. sea level.
