Annual with several prostrate or ascending stems, 5-25 cm, pubescent with spreading jointed eglandular hairs intermixed with short glandular hairs, sometimes glabrescent. Leaves unifoliolate, lower leaves sometimes trifoliolate; leaflets acutely denticulate, small, obovate to oblong-cuneate, 5-10 x 2-4 mm, ± imbricate, mainly folded. Flowers forming loose racemes. Peduncle 1-flowered, short, up to 4 mm. Calyx campanulate, 6-8 mm; lobes lanceolate, 3-5-nerved, as long as tube. Corolla yellow, 8-12 mm, standard pubescent. Legume ovateoblong, hairy, 8 x5 mm, 10-14-ovulate. Seeds kidney-shaped, smooth, 1,5 mm. Fl. 4-6. Maritime sands.
