Low prostrate or hummock-forming shrub, 5-15 cm, branches densely adpressed- to patent-hairy. Leaves 3-10 x 1,5-4 mm, simple, sessile, elliptic to obovate, adpressed- to patent-hairy, sometimes sparsely so above. Flowers borne singly or in pairs in the axil of each bract, sometimes congested at the ends of branches. Bracts foliaceous; pedicels 1,5-3 mm; bracteoles minute and borne c. halfway along the pedicel, or lacking. Calyx 5-7 mm, villous. Standard 9-12 mm, broadly ovate, sericeous, as long as the wings and keel. Legume narrowly oblong, densely villous, several-seeded. Fl. 5-6. Rocky, usually calcareous slopes, Pinus brutia forest, 700-2200 m.
