A much branched, adpressed-canescent perennial, 50-90 cm. Leaves cauline. Leaflets subequal, 20-40 x 15-25 mm, broadly ovate, dentate. Inflorescence an elongated, 20-50-flowered spike-like raceme of 7-20 cm. Bracts absent. Calyx densely white-canescent, with short lanceolate teeth. Corolla whitish to pale blue, c. 5 mm. Fruit c. 5 x2 mm, canescent, included in the calyx, without a beak. Seeds free from the pericarp. Fl. 6-8. In fallow fields, 810-1420 m.
