Differing from A. glycyphyllos in having erect stems, leaflets 30-70 mm, acute, calyx always black-hairy, and legumes 15-25 mm, more or less straight, pendulous. Fl. 6-7. Meadows, banks, deciduous scrub, 1700-2400 m.
