Stems to 50- cm, procumbent. Leaves 1-2 x as broad as long, reniform, ± fleshy, apex very broadly obtuse or emarginate. Bracteoles ovate to orbicular, flat or somewhat keeled. Corolla 32-52 mm, pink. Fl. 5-7. Coastal sands.
Temperate coasts of N. & S. hemispheres, including Mediterranean, Black Sea and Caspian. Habit of Ipomoea stolonifera.
