Perennial, ± glabrous, viscid above. Stems erect, up to 80 cm. Lower leaves small, lanceolate or oblanceolate. Median cauline leaves more than 3 x longer than broad, less than 5 mm broad, linear-lanceolate, acute. Inflorescence a lax panicle. Petals purplish when dry, the limb divided into oblong-obovate, obtuse lobes. Anthophore 10-13mm, hairy. Capsule about as long as the anthophore, somewhat exserted from the calyx. Fl. 7. Mountains, 1200-2100 m.
