Glabrous, more or less glaucous, perennial with long creeping underground stems and short flowering shoots, c. 5 cm high. Basal leaves fleshy, ovate to oblong, c. 10 mm including a petiole 5 mm. Cauline leaves sessile, not or scarcely auriculate. Petals mauve to white, 7-8 x 3 mm. Inflorescence corymbose, scarcely elongating in fruit. Siliculae slightly compressed, oblong, 5-6 x 3 mm, attenuate at both ends; fruiting style 1,5 mm; septum 6 x2 mm. Seeds reddish-brown, slightly ridged, 2 in each loculus. Fl. 7. High alpine screes, 2700-3300 m.
