Stem 6-28 mm, simple or branched. Basal leaves 10-30 x 3-5 mm, spathulate to obovate, obtuse, petiolate; cauline 10-30 x 1-5 mm, linear-oblong to narrowly linear, acute, sessile. Bracts linear, 3-10 mm. Pedicels 0-1 mm. Calyx 5-sect, lobes minute in flower, somewhat accrescent in fruit, incurved from middle. Corolla sky-blue , 2 mm; limb c. 1·2 mm diam. Nutlets c. 2·5 mm.
