Perennial. Stems 12-25 cm, usually simple, densely patent-setose, puberulent. Leaves 10-29 x 3-5 mm, linear to linear-oblong, obtuse to subacute, setose. Inflorescence of ± lax cymes. Pedicels 0-2 mm. Calyx 6-8 mm in flower, setose. Corolla pale yellow, 11-19 mm, puberulent, c. 2 x calyx. Anthers included. Nutlets C. 2·5 mm. Fl. 5-7. Juniperus-Quercus scrub.
