Differs from A. cupani by the 2-valved spathe, and from A. callidictyon by the long-caudate, lanceolate spathe and by the inner filaments being only slightly broader than the outer. Fl. 8-9. Rocky places, 250-1600 m.

Endemic. Euxine element.
